The combined bridge of V-shaped pier continuous rigid-frame and arch is a kind of composite structure with V-shaped pier continuous rigid-frame and arch bridge, which have the both feature of the two structures. Because of the advantages such as the large entire stiffness, conveneient construction, slim sad graceful structure, this type of bridge is more and more papular in long-span bridge especially the railway bridge.Based on the engineering of Xiaolan Channel Bridge, this thesis developed an integrated finite element model using the commercial software MIDAS/CIVIL2006. The linear elastic Stability of Xiaolan Channel Bridge during the construction phase, finished phase and operation phase are analysed, and the stability coefficients are calvulated. Based on the characters of the bridge, parameters influencing buckling eigenvalues of the bridge, like the number, arrangement and stiffness of lateral brace, the stiffness of arch ribs and follower force of the suspender, are analysed, and the influencing trend on buckling eigenvalues of the long span arch bridge is achieved in aim of instructing the design of the same bridge types.
