The Ningbo Fenghua River Bridge is a prestressed V-shaped pier rigid bridge with three spans, symmetric cantilever casting construction method is used in the construction of box girder, in the midspan closure, jacking force is pre-applied to adjust the internal force status of the V-shaped pier in operational phase. Fenghua River Bridge has a large main span, it is particularly important to use the linear control and stress monitoring to ensure safe and reliable during construction. This paper was based on Fenghua River Bridge, the finite element program was used to conduct a preliminary analysis and research of the V-shaped pier rigid frame bridge’s force characteristics and geometry and stress monitoring in the critical construction phase.First, this paper refered to literature about the V-shaped pier continuous rigid frame bridge at home and abroad, then collated and analyzed them, in order to have a more in-depth understanding of the course of development and current research situation of the domestic and international V-shaped pier continuous rigid frame bridge. At the same time, this paper briefly introduced the basic method of V-shaped pier rigid frame bridge construction analysis theory and construction control method.Second, Midas Civil was used in establishment of the frame finite element model of the full-bridge. And this paper analysed how the pre-applied jacking force in the mid-span closure effect on bridge deformation size and improvement in the internal forces of the key part, and compared with the model which wasn’t applied the jacking force.Third, this paper used large-scale general-purpose finite element simulation program ANSYS to make space solid element model of the the V-shaped pier and its0to3#block, and analysed its space local stress level and its distribution law in the the critical construction stage, in order to provide a more detailed reference for bridge construction and operational phase. Finally, the article described the stress and displacement monitoring program for the construction phase of the main bridge, which mainly including sensor, collection system and monitoring method. According to the monitoring results of a detailed analysis of the V leg key sections stress variation law and displacement control results in mid-span closure process.The results of this paper can be benefit for the similar projects in the future.
