In allusion to ship structure distortion,numerical simulation of distortion suppression was progressed in this dissertation by using piezoelectric marine smart structure.First of all, the characteristics, the constitution mechanism and direct and inverse piezoelectric effect and equations of piezoelectric material were introduced.Piezoelectric smart structure is formed by sticking the piezoelectric slice to normal structure. Introducing piezoelectric smart structure to ship, its piezoelectric effect can be used to control ship structure distortion actively.The function of piezoelectric analysis was exploited in commercial software MSC/Patran,Nastran for the application of marine smart structure control. Besides, a friendly user interface was set up in Patran by using Patran Command Language (PCL).A research of the static analysis in piezoelectric marine smart structure was put forward by using the exploited function and its static control effect was shown.
