Air navigation dimmer, as the core control device of air navigation lighting system, is the key factor to guarantee aircraft pilot to land safely under various visibility. With development of power electronics technology, all-digital airfield dimmer will replace traditional analog or hybrid digital-analog control mode.In the paper, the principle of air navigation dimmer system is first expatiated, and then the mathematical model and circuit model of single-phase full-bridge inverter are presented. The comparison of dimmer control systems based on current RMS feedback control and instantaneous current feedback control is engaged in, the simulation platforms of two control modes based on Saber are established and then the simulation results are analyzed respectively. For a better control of output current wave, the repetitive control and PI control are introduced and compared in detail in the paper. After referring to papers widely home and abroad, the air navigation dimmer system is designed based on instantaneous current repetitive-PI hybrid control. The simulation results indicate the validity and feasibility of the scheme, and the excellent static and dynamic control effect can be obtained.In the hardware control circuit, the TI DSP TMS320LF2406A is used as kernel control chip; the interface circuits for protection, storage, display and sampling are also designed. As for software design, the primary function module and flow chart of main circuit are introduced in detail in the paper.
