| Town, the substantial element in the process of urbanization, is also an important part of the whole system. It is a central city regionally, which plays as an economic and cultural hub. For the specific situation of our country, the main focus of urbanization is on economic development on the sacrifice of ecological environment. Former environment has been destroyed. So the establishment of urban green system in towns, which own sweeping economic development, is the preference of most citizens. Attentions to environment construction in towns should be paid immediately. Urban green system as the prerequisite of urban environment improvement, researches and planning related become inevitable.Directions on urbanization in our country in the course of the eleventh Five-Years was discussed in the 5th session of the 16th CPC Congress, which nailed down the coordination of the development of metropolis, middle cities, small cities and towns. This resolution attached weights to town development, which will influence the whole course of urbanization in our country. Two issues are already here needing solving: 1, what kind of town should be established; 2, how to establish it. Planning and construction of orchard green system in towns during the process of urbanization is the least mentioned and regarded. However, urban green system in towns in Shandong Province are following the mode of metropolis and middle cities, which jeopardize the healthy development of green space construction in Shandong Province. Regional green space construction can meliorate the ecological environment in cities. Towns are points compared with the whole regional planning, so the idea of'green town'should be taken into account from the angle of regional planning. In the 60 decades of last century, McHarg, the famous American landscape designer mentioned that, there are two systems in urban areas, one is space opening system revolved naturally; the other is urban development system. And the satisfied open space can be achieved on the unity of the two systems.According to the situation of our country and demands of town residents, economic development should be paid more attentions to the comparatively lower urbanized towns. This paper took high urbanized towns as cases, which have sound urban green systems and can represent the towns with good urban green system planning. The goal of this paper is to be realized the spiritual standards of our citizens as well as the material standards. Three areas (Laizhou, Zoucheng and Pingyi) with green courage larger than 35% were selected here. Urbanization standard of Laizhou City is 53%, Zoucheng City 50%, and Pingyi City 35.8%, all of them exceed the mean standard of Shandong Province (30%). They are located in northern, central and southern part of Shandong Province respectively. The down sequence of Built-up areas of them is Laizhou City, Zoucheng City and Pingyi City.After the correction of RS data using ERDAS IMAGINE 8.5 software, coupled with field survey, RS images were interpreted to acquire landscape patterns. Landscape indices were compared and selected, and optimal indices were calculated using Fragstats software. Furthermore, comparison and discussion were carried out on the basis of the calculation. Corresponding green system theories and methods were discussed, via the discussion and comparison of landscape patterns and heterogeneity of the three areas. City planning, landscape ecology and anti-planning theory, etc were adopted here. Using contrastive demonstrating methods and taking green systems in big and middle cities, this paper analyzed and discussed the traits of towns and their layouts in Shandong Province, especially the traits of town green system in Shandong Province. The traits and shortcomings of green system in towns were analyzed and compared, and then layout modes of green system in Shandong Province were put forward, based on local towns'characteristics and planning theories. |
