Comparative Study Of Landscape Patterns And Green Space Layout Between New And Old Campus In Three Typical Universities, Nanjing

Along with the enrollment expansion of universities, more and more students are going into the it. The campus is a place that teachers impart knowledge, educate people and spread of truth, a land that students build character, personality; but also the final link to rejuvenate the nation, impleme of the nation which has put on the one hundred program of education. Good university campus environment has a very important role for the student to form the common "university spirit", it takes a way of exert a subtle influence on students’ spiritual world. The campus is different from residential district and city park, it is a variety superimposed complex of functions, can not only consider living function, recreation function or simple teaching function, because universities shoulder the burden of training talents, therefore, campus landscape differs from that of other types of landscape, except for the vast number of teachers’ and students’ study and life to provide a good external environment outside, still should pay attention to the campus culture mining, pay attention to the creation of the communication space and their own individual character shaping.This article selects the Jiulonghu as new campus,Sipailou as old campus in Southeast University,and Xianlin as new campus, Suiyuan as old campus in Nanjing Normal University and Xianlin as new campus, Hanzhongmen as old campus in Nanjing University of Chinese medicine as the research object, using the landscape ecology theories and methods, through the landscape pattern analysis software Fragstats3.3combined with CAD and GIS space analysis software, from the plaque, type, landscape three level based on the different landscape index to the new problem is posing on the landscape spatial pattern of the green space layout and characters of the objective analysis and comparative study. The main results are as follows:1, The Nanjing three typical university campus landscape is divided into5kinds of level of landscape patches types and corresponding8kinds of landscape patches type, respectively made three university six campus patches type profile.2, With the6campus landscape pattern index analysis, reveals the various universities’ landscape patterns and green space layout characteristics, and to each campus for vertical and horizontal comparison, diagnosed the campus landscape patterns and green space deficiency.3, From the two aspects of landscape patterns and green space layout in the three typical university campus, puts forward suggestions on how to optimize.4, From the macroscopic view, college campus for the future construction of landscape patterns and green space layout proposed constructing method and the construction of campus landscape ideal mode are discussed.The research in this paper will provide scientific and reasonable basis for the campus landscape patterns and green space planning in the future.
