The groundwater source heat pump system (GWSHP) has been identified as a most Environment-friendly and effieient heat pump system. The GWSHP system will help our country adjust the energy structure and meet the requirements of sustainable development strategies.In recent years, the GWSHP system has been applied very widely in China. However, some problems occur in practical engineering applications. It is a common phenomenon that designers use GWSHP system blindly without analysis of hydrogeology condition of engineering field and accurate economic evaluation. Therefore, taking Xi'an area GWHP system typical project case for Example, combining theoretical analysis with practical application, this paper will analyze and research the applied conditions, air-conditioning load characteristics and economic evaluation of the GWHP system, in order to better guide the GWHP system's popularization and application.In this paper, Firstly characteristics and working principle of the GWSHP system are given by a systematic exposition based on the concept and composition of the GWSHP system, and analyze hydrogeology conditions of the typical project; Secondly, taking typical GWSHP system project for commercial and civil building in Xi'an as example, use the DEST software for both types of building to simulate air-conditioning load respectively, discuss the system load characteristic,and compare with the measured data to test the reliability of simulation result;finally, on the basis of the results of simulation analysis, taking the typical project as an example, comparatively calculate the engineering costs, annual operation costs and annual maintenance costs of the GWSHP system and the traditional district heating and refrigeration, taking the annual cost of heat pump system for the goal of economic analysis, and calculate the recovery period of additional investment of the heat pump system. This article gained the conclusions and methods that have reference value for the GWSHP system's design, performance analysis and economic evaluation, and also provide reference meaning for the popularization and application.of GWSHP system.
