This topic develops a vehicle over speed Snapshot system used for vehicle speed detection in expressway, which has strong function, low price and unattended, undetected and convenient characteristic.The text mainly described the experiment research of the portable vehicles over speed snapshot system in expressway based on the magnetic sensor. The system uses the industry-leading embedded multimedia processor ADSP-BF533 as a control unit; its peripheral circuit includes two geomagnetic vehicles detectors, CMOS sensor circuit, SD card. The research includes: For the part of Geomagnetic Vehicles Detector, a magnetic sensor is utilized to this indigenous design to realize the vehicle speed detection function. Illegal picture information collection, synthesis and JPEG encoding; the hardware and software design of violation picture of local storage; with touch-screen TFT LCD display controller and the pre-design program design and so on. In the process of system design, use the disruption to deal with external events and use dynamic power management rational, thereby reducing power consumption and extend the power of time.The system has speed detection, speeding capture, illegal information storage; viewing and processing functions. It also holds the performances of high-speed processing, stable running, convenience and flexibility and shows a good application prospect in the area of vehicle speeding violation detection in expressway. In addition, the system has good expansibility; a little alteration, it can be applied to the electronic police of red light running, the control of in and out door in expressway, parking access control and so on.
