With the decreasing quality of non-renewable energy resource of human being, the energy crisis is getting more and more serious. It is imperative to do researches on developing and harnessing new energy resources. As is known, the ocean wave energy is a kind of clean and renewable energy resource. Since the stored wave energy resource is abundant in our country, developing a novel floating type of wave energy device does great benefit to us. The device could generate electrical power and supply the pharos, residents and PLA soldiers living along the coast. So this investigation has a significant meaning. In the design of float sea wave generator group, the power of generator group should be determined by the wave situation of sea area. The device that bears force is buoy in float sea wave generator group, and the size of buoys should be decided by the wave situation. To completely absorb and use the sea power, the math model about the bearing force of buoy has been established, analyzed the corresponding displacement of buoy and the output power of motor are simulated by SIMULINK software to decide the size, mass of buoys and the motor power to absorb the sea wave power absolutely. With the appearance of new permanent magnet materials, the performance of permanent magnet machines has been greatly improved. Compared with the traditional rolling machine, the permanent magnet reciprocating generator makes the rotor act in a straight line, which perfectly matches the characters of wave movements.A four-side permanent magnet linear generator has been researched in this paper. The electromagnetic field has been calculated with principle of Finite Element Method, and the dynamic simulation has been done with applications of ANSOFT. According to results of dynamic simulation, the structure of generator has been optimized to reduce the mechanical vibrations.
