An advanced analysis of 2D cascade flow is discussed in this article by comparing the results of cascade experiment and computer simulations. The data of the cascade performance including different attack angles and outlet mach numbers is got from a series of 2D cascade wind tunnel experimentations. Then these test data should be compared with the simulation results that is born form CFD software-Fluent. Based on turbulent and computing theories, several turbulent models such as S-A model, SST k-ωmodel, Std k-ωmodel and calculating methods are used in this simulations. After analysis of comparing result of cascade parameters including lost coefficient, outlet mach number, angle of outflow etc., a relative good turbulent and calculating model-Simple S-A model should be singled out and scrutinized. The error of the simulation is also offered so that the best simulation model could be used in the research of cascade filtration. The errors of lost coefficient, outlet mach number and angle of outflow by Simple S-A model are 2.5%, 1.5%and 1.5 degrees respectively. By postprocessing the best simulation result, the CFD software can provide some detail information of cascade flow that can't be got directly from the cascade experiments. And these detail data can give a lot of helps for deeper understanding of cascade flow.
