NF-6 Wind tunnel is a pressurizing, continuous, high-speed and return-flow aerofoil wind tunnel . Pressurizing, continuous and transonic wind tunnel is the first one in our country , and it is the world's first class tremendous high- speed aerofoil wind. The wind tunnel' s control system is a large and complicated system, which including three set control system: MACH number system, model attitude system, compressor surveillance- control system . In among, the control system of MACH number is a core system, which guarantee realizing performance for NF-6 wind tunnel. The MACH number control system need more sub- system to correspond working, which is th a typical more input and one output system. Not only that, the MACH number system still prevent making compressor from into gasp area. In this area, compressor will be to damage. Hence, using tradition control method have already exposed some weakness, and it need to use advance intelligent control method.Aiming at the high control performance of the MACH number system in NF-6 wind tunnel, we introduce the self-adapt control strategy based on BP Neural Network (NN), which it use adapt character of NN to control MACH number of NF-6 wind tunnel. The basic idea of e self- adept control based on BP NN is to design an adaptive controller that acts as the inverse of the plant. The self-adapt control strategy is using two NN for controlling the wind tunnel. One's used to the wind tunnel control; anotherone used to identify the plant of the wind tunnel and reverse calculated idea control value. Using the value train first NN and making an optimum control value, which is made by reversion of the plant.This method can be use in MACH number control of NF-6 wind tunnel(a pressurizing, continuous, high-speed and return-flow aerofoil wind tunnel ).Based on this, adopting LabWindows/CVI, the American National Instrument Corporation' s virtual instrument developing software, develop control system software platform of MACH number control.This paper also describes network communication of wind tunnel control system.
