It has always been the core issue of technological improvements of power plants to improve the economic benefit of turbine generators. Energy-saving technological transformation of thermal power plants has become the focus of science and technology plan of our country. Cycle Power Plant pumps as an important auxiliary is a huge power system and it is depleting the total electricity generating capacity of 1% -1.5%. Therefore, the study of the development of the circulating water system and the optimal mode of operation, for saving electricity plants, improve the operation of the plant is of great economic significance.In this paper, optimal operation of circulating water system of power plant is the main line and the convergence research of particle swarm optimization algorithm is the breakthrough.So,we did research and made a number of research results in the convergence of PSO and the algorithm design of circulating water system .This paper summarized the convergence research of PSO and analyzed the global convergence of the swarm optimization particle algorithm(PSO) with stochastic inertia weight. At present, dealing with optimization problems in Engineering applications, PSO with stochastic inertia weight was always used, and had good performance. However, its theoretical foundation about stability was still relatively weak. Based on the theory of stochastic processes and the previous theoretical achievements, this paper presented a convergence condition for the stochastic weight system. Compared with the methods in the previous literature, the proposed method achieves better results. Simulations demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.Optimal control of the circulation pumps station was an important item in energy saving of power plant. Compared with the two particle swarm optimization (PSO)algorithms applied to optimization model of circulating water system, an PSO algorithm with Stochastic inertia weight was proposed ,obtained the optimal decision vector . It could effectively find the optimal solution and successfully solve the problem of the optimal control of circulation pumps station. Compared with the genetic algorithm, PSO algorithm with stochastic inertia weight is simple and has high seeking speed and efficaciousness. Simulation results show that the proposed PSO algorithm is effictive and feasible.
