Research On The Methods Of Building A Machine-based Virtual Laboratory

Aming at the shortcoming of traditional laboratory, such as costly, low efficiency, difficulties in maintaining, this paper studies some current methods to building a virtual laboratory, combined with the specific requirements of mechanical theory experiments, realized a virtual laboratory, which with LabVIEW as a virtual platform, used of mechanical design software as the main development tool, contained login module, simulation module and data recording module as one entirety.In this paper, this experimental platform takes AutoCAD developing the experiment of generation method machining gear Principle and VRML technic developing the experiment of retarder assembly and disassembly for example, reached the visualization and interaction purposes. The result of example show that the design thought is correct, the interface is friendly. The operation is reliable and quick. This experiment platform can be widely used in teaching experiments through further developed.
