| With the rapid development of economy, electric power cables are widely used. Cable fault detection, especially precision fixed-point techniques after the rough measurement of fault points, has become a constraint to the development of the cable. In this paper, a precise location system for cable fault detection was introduced .The main tasks of the thesis include the following parts,Basic knowledge of cable fault detection was described, such as cable fault causes, cable fault classification and cable fault location method. Cable fault measurement methods were discussed, including crude measurement method and fixed-point test method. Also, digital filter design methods were discussed. After FDATool toolbox was studied, a FIR filter, core modules of the circuit fault location systems was designed. Finally, with the research of hardware structure and performance characteristic of the digital signal processor TMS320LF2401A in TI company, and CCS--the DSP integrated development environment, the filtering and amplifying circuit in front-end analog part, DSP chip peripheral circuits and system output circuit were designed based on the performance requirements. The simulation and design of the FIR digtal filter based on DSP chip was performed by using C language and assemble language.When applied to a precise fixed-point instrument of cable arc reflection fault , the system proposed in this paper can manually adjust the frequency range of filtering options, and avoid the on-site noise, thus a precise point of failure was obtained. |
