Pilot Study On Landscape Characterization Of Sightseeing Agricultural Garden

Sightseeing agricultural garden is an organization form of agricultural tourism. It's a new garden category, which is different from a general sense of green space, and also different from traditional agricultural production land and rural area. Sightseeing agricultural garden is a comprehensive park that has the theme of agricultural production and regards tourism and entertainment, eco-tourism and leisure as the main function. Agricultural garden landscape syncretizes production, ecology, entertainment and knowledge as a whole; garden's appearance conforms to the needs of people's back to nature, and also in line with the national conditions of China as a large agricultural county. Therefore, the construction of sightseeing agricultural garden in many parts of our country has already been in full swing and achieved significant results. But in some place both planning and development of agricultural gardens are unsatisfactory. Landscape feature is unconspicuous, and gardens are fixed in form and monotonous in content, causing a lot of attention. Taking the landscape characteristics of agricultural garden for study, this thesis aims at above issues and comes up with the views of agricultural garden's characteristics and the methods of landscape expression though theoretical study and case analysis.Landscape characteristics studied in this thesis, refers to the characteristics of agricultural garden that different from the characteristics of traditional agricultural production land and general urban green space, including the nature of garden characteristics, such as production, ecology, naturalness and its innovative characteristics such as entertainment, culture, artistic and so on. Under the premise of knowledge of characteristics, the thesis combines with landscape ecology, landscape aesthetics, landscape science and other programming theory; landscape characteristics on agricultural gardens expression methods are discussed.In order to maintain its own characteristics and features of the landscape, agricultural gardens expression of landscape characteristics can be discussed from five aspects:the natural environment construction, landscape pattern arrangement, utilizing of landscape practices, the projects settings, inside culture excavation. Grasping landscape characteristics, finding out the feature of agricultural gardens, reasonable planning and design can make the landscape unique and beautiful, the landscape pattern consistent with planning site, and also can make the historical and cultural connotation of the landscape be fully conveyed. Meanwhile, it gives rise to identity and sense of belonging; people, man and nature live in harmony, and always maintain the vitality of gardens.
