In this paper, we introduced the basic content, theoretical basis and the steps of Draft Survey first, and then we introduced the various factors which may lead Draft Survey to errors and the reason for which they lead Draft Survey to errors.We want to find a way to reduce or eliminate the errors of Draft Survey by analyzing the reason why they may cause the errors. The focus of this paper is the analysis about the errors of Draft Survey and the correction method against the causes of the errors. We have specifically analyzed the correction against the error which is caused by ships trim.Through an analysis of the factors that may cause the errors of Draft survey, we can find the reason that they caused the errors in the process of Draft survey. By doing this, we propose the corresponding corrective measures against these factors which may lead Draft survey to errors in order to achieve the purpose of reducing or eliminating errors.
