Light steel structure residential system has become the main building structure because of its environmental protection and sustainable development advantages, the assembly plate light steel structure house is an innovative light steel structure house, it uses strip skeleton wall, floor, roof and other plates as the main load-bearing structure, the load-bearing plates can be produced in a factory prefabricated and then transported to the construction site, assembled the whole building. Among them, the strip skeleton wall can not only withstand vertical loads but also can withstand the lateral force, this is the greatest strength which is different from other light steel. In addition, because each panel can achieve factory and standardized production, and the maintenance structure can adopt new environmental, energy-saving materials, and it can be reused. Therefore, steel plate light housing assembly is green environment-friendly building, it is consistent with our strategy of sustainable development, with good prospects for development.The main purpose of this topic is to study the mechanical behavior of light steel frame wall with K-type lateral bracings in the low cyclic lateral loads. And compared with the experimental results, summarized wall skeleton from the law, propose a more reasonable system of light steel wall skeleton, then apply it to guide the assembly plate light steel residential design.The main subject of research methods and concluded is that by using ANSYS finite element analysis software to analyze mechanical properties of light steel frame wall, and compared with the test methods, so wall skeleton of this issue to can meet the capacity requirement, it proved that the K-diagonal with the wall frame support structure is feasible. In addition, wall skeleton is destroyed in the node both in simulation analysis and experimental analysis, diagonal support is not broken, can not fully play its mechanical properties, therefore, the actual design of the node part of the wall should be strengthened, it can give full play to the role of the overall wall skeleton, and improve the assembly plate light steel structure residential design standards.
