Because of the particularity and complexity of geotechnical engineering, reliability in geotechnical engineering design theory has not yet reached the practical stage, many issues are still being explored. The uncertainty of geotechnical parameters and the probability of settlement of analogue reliability in geotechnical engineering critical and difficult.In this paper, the reliability design theory, on the ground one-dimensional consolidation settlement of the stochastic finite element analysis carried out research on the reliability theory for probabilistic analysis and application in geotechnical engineering has some significance.This three-step settlement of the ground consolidation rules change over time, first of all, using Midas and FLAC3D software analyzes settlement obtained does not consider random effects and random effects to consider the difference between settlement and analyzed the different modulus of elasticity coefficient of variation case, the single foundation, foundation and multi-layer settlement rules, research shows that when the elastic modulus coefficient of variation is small, the foundation of the settlement and does not consider random effects the same.Secondly, Monte Carlo method combined with matlab software to analyze the foundation degree of consolidation, coefficient of consolidation coefficient of variation obtained with different degree of consolidation under the variation of the foundation, the foundation also calculated degree of consolidation rules change over time. The results show that when the consolidation coefficient coefficient of variation is small, the discrete degree of consolidation to a lesser extent, with the coefficient of consolidation coefficient of variation increases, the dispersion degree of consolidation also increases.Finally, settlement data and ground consolidation time-varying degree of discipline on the single foundation for research and consolidation settlement, consolidation settlement reached with the foundation soil modulus coefficient of variation and coefficient of consolidation coefficient of variation of foundation relations and the consolidation of layered soil variation of settlement with time. The results show that single foundation soil consolidation settlement and the elastic modulus coefficient of variation and coefficient of consolidation coefficient of variation has a lot, especially when the elastic modulus coefficient of variation and coefficient of consolidation coefficient of variation are larger, on greater consolidation settlement of foundation.
