| From 2004,a 10Mev irradiation LINAC has been developing in Beijing Research Institute of Automation for Machinery Industry(RIAMB).This LINAC can be used in the field of irradiation processing, mainly be used for irradiation sterilization of medical and hygiene products etc.Irradiation processing should make the received dose of all irradiation items between the upper and lower limits. For the accelerator itself ,the scanning uniformity must be required. This accelerator uses traveling microwave to accelerate electrons, which obtains the pulse beams. In order to make short of the target scanning uniformity,we equip with two magnetic quadrupole lens and a scanning magnet in the exit from the accelerator. For high-voltage accelerator, as a result of continuous output electron beams, without considering the impact of electron density distribution,we only need to restrict the current wave form, not need to add restrictions on the scanning frequency.Because the introduction of the scanning speed can study scanning uniformity theoretically completely. But for the pulse beams, considering the pulse repetition rate, the internal density distribution of the pulse electron beam, scanning frequency and some other factors, the study of the uniformity has some difficulty. In this paper, firstly,we measure the electron density distribution in the pulse beam.Through discussion on the uniform arrangement of the beams,we give some relevant constraints to make the uniformity better. Secondly, through calculation of the locations of the beam on the irradiation plane,we discuss the scanning current wave form, and then, the scanning power supply is given.Thirdly,we analyse the experimental results. Then we analyse the focusing and divergence of the particle beams in the quadrupole lens.In the end,we contrast these results to find the best solution. So,this paper is divided into six parts. |
