In many modern factory domain, permanent magnet linear synchronous motors (PMLSM) have been an attractive choice because of its big thrust, low loss and high efficiency. But in PMLSM, there are end effect, cogging force and ripple disturbance which confine its application as high accuracy numerical control machine.In this thesis, ILC algorithm is studied and used in rejecting some periodical distubances.First, based on working principle of PMLSM and basic content of vector control, mathematical model of PMLSM is established. Under the MATLAB, simulink is applied to close loop control system of PMLSM vector control.Load disturbance, end effect and friction likely appear periodically when a linear motor carrys out task repeatedly. A current cycle iterative learning control(ILC) algorithm is presented for the periodic disturbances which exist in PMLSM, and one ILC algorithm with feedback compensate which combines with traditional PID control is used to reject some periodic disturbances in PMLSM. This algorithm extends from time field to iteration field. Then the system's hardware and software are designed by using TMS320F2812 DSP. It is indicated that iterative learning control theory can reject some periodic disturbances after analyzing the researches on different controllers and their simulations. PMLSM controlled by iterative learning control have perfect adjustment and simple realizations, which can be practically used. Comparing with normal control methods, the iterative learning control algorithm have better convergence and stability, and it can reject some periodic disturbances obviously.
