Hybrid Electric Vehicles(HEV) combines the advantages of conventional engine-driven vehicles and Electric Vehicles(EV).This provides satisfied driving performance and lower exhaust emission.Thus,HEV is a feasible solution to solve the energy crisis and environmental pollution problems.As a main component of HEV.electric drive system plays an important role in HEV.So.the study of electric drive system has great theoretical and practical significance.Firstly,the characteristics and demand of the electric drive system of HEV is analyzed.By comparing the performance and the characteristics of several kinds motor,the Halbach permanent magnet synchronous motor is selected as the motor drive.In its detailed analysis of the basic principles and characteristics.based on finite element analysis software ANSYS to establish its model.and with ordinary permanent magnet synchronous motor compared to verify the validity of Halbach permanent magnet synchronous motor.Secondly,this article is for direct torque control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor and improvement of the related research.Direct Torque Control(DTC) is a novel technology after the vector control in the field of AC drive systems.Conventional DTC has some advantages.such as easy implementation.fast response and less effect of motor parameters' change.so a better dynamic performance can be obtained,but some large ripples of torque also exist.Aiming at the shortcomings of conventional DTC.a novel direct torque control system based on space-voltage vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) is proposed in this paper.The SVPWM can help the inverter to realize continuous voltage vector modulation,decrease the current harmonic component,and restrain the torque ripples;meanwhile,extended particle swarm optimization(PSO) is applied to improve the response characteristic of the system.Finally,the electric drive system of HEV is designed based on the dedicated motor control DSP chip-TMS320LF2407A.The hardware circuits is designed,including drive isolation circuit of IPM power module,DSP peripheral circuits,current detection circuit and protection circuits.At the same time.some subprograms are realized in the software of electric drive system as below, the main subprogram,and drive interrupt subroutine.
