Engine electronic control technology can be used to improve engine power performance and fuel economy , this article developed electronic control ignition system of SDH125-2 type four-stroke gasoline engine in order to achieve the purpose of engine switching between four-stroke and two-stroke, also the article analyzed the software system of the two-stroke operating mode.Optimistic spark advance angle control is the main part of the ignition control. This paper taking SDH125-2 type gasoline engine as the study subjects, tested on engine bench bed. The optimistic spark advance angle MAP of this gasoline engine can be achieved by regulating its speed and load and real time recording the data of power, torque and fuel consumption which provided the basis of the optimistic ignition timing for the ignition system. Then we put the ignition MAP to the single-chip computer ROM which was used by software program for the searching of spark advanve angle subroutine.According the overall design requirement, the paper using high cost performance ATmega16 as the master chip for the electronic control unit, successfully designed ignition control system. And introduced a variety of anti-jamming measures such as decoupling which guarantee the system in reliable operation.The software part compiled the hardwarehouse corresponding working condition using C language program, and gave the anti-interference measures.At last, according the software and hardware emulation debugging, the emulation debugging result was gaven. The electronic control system can realize the engine basic ignition requirement .Finally, the paper points out the inadequacies and the places need to improve and perfect, which also raises improve programs,measures and further research prospects.
