Preliminary Investigation On The Urban Green Space System Planning Create Regional Characteristics

Rapid "globalization" and "urbanization" process changed the original living environment of cities, leading to weakened regional consciousness, the convergence of urban form and the missing of regional features and characteristics. Due to the lack of scientific and effective theoretical guidance and misunderstanding of the urban development problem, some of the urban development abandon the regional characteristics of resources, caused great damage to the regional culture and urban spatial structure, the sense and identity of the space as well as the regional characteristics disappeared.As the life of city, losing regional characteristics is equivalent to losing the foundation of urban development. Based on the current "zero recognition City" and "non-local" phenomenon of cities, this article urban green space system planning create the regional characteristics, aimed at mining, conserving, and creating urban regional characteristics that create the image of the city region to improve the regional characteristics of the disappearing city status.Regional characteristics rely on the natural environment as well as the green space system. As an important part of the city, Green space have integrated the unique natural and geographical structure, landscape features, areas of plants and the local culture which make the irreplaceable role to strengthen the overall image of the city and create the distinctive regional characteristics. Green space has become the main factors to measure the regional characteristics of modern cities.In the space layout, good urban green space system can guide planning and development, protecting the tour features of the city; in sub-planning, as green space with its own characteristics, reflecting the cultural characteristics of different regions that evolve into the city's geographical signs. In addition, green space is the ecological basis for sustainable social and economic development, through which to construct saving garden, helping change the current construction mode of resources lost and regional landscape lost. By rational use of local rivers, mountains, flora and fauna and other natural resources to create the urban landscape is the most economical means to create the regional characteristics,which avoiding serious damage to the natural environment caused by over-exploitation.From the perspective of the cognitive regional characteristics,the article focus on the elements of the regional characteristics analyzing the form of green landscape which depend on the three major regional industry factors of the natural environment, social and cultural factors and economic factors. In "Landscape Image Science" and "Place Spirit" theoretical support, the article discuss the carrier of creating regional characteristics by urban green space system planning, argue from three levels by means of "plane, line, point" of the landscape form,put forward specific strategies of enhancing green space layout structure,constructing green way as well as feature-rich green space;and put regional elements into the green space system planning reflecting urban regional characteristics from multi-faceted and multi-angle.Basis in theory, the article take Fengjie green space system planning for examples of creating regional Character of the city.
