| As an important component equipment of Ship Integrated Navigation System, Electronic navigation chart and marine radar is the system that display the maritime safety information for mariners when the ship sailing, and plays an extremely important role for ship navigation and collision avoidance safety. However, both alone has some limitations, in order to enhance the safety of maritime navigation, it is necessary to radar images superimposed display on the electronic navigation chart.According to the practical requirements and direction of development about ship navigation system, the paper designs and realizes the overlay display of radar image and electronic navigation chart using Visual C#.NET development tools, making chart background, the vessel location and static and dynamic target radar image overlay display in real time. The system not only realizes the display of electronic navigation chart and radar images, but needs to complete the design of the interface, achieve the various functions through the control system.This article makes the summary introduce to development and basic principles of the electronic navigation chart and marine radar, adopts the implementation plan with hierarchical design, studies respectively the electronic chart display system, the radar display system and superimposed display system, realizes the two display models of the real-time overlay display of radar video image and radar target simulation. And it discusses and researches the key technologies of the coordinate transformation, fast display, superposition matching algorithm on the electronic navigation chart and radar image displaying system.Also, according to actual needs, this paper constructs an interactive interface display platform about the superposition display system of electronic navigation chart and radar image on Visual Studio.NET development environment, designs a good interactive interface, has actualized the basic function operation.
