As a renewable energy, biomass is a good substitute of the traditional fossil. But its physical properties-low density, limit its rational development and utilization. But biomass solid forming technology can solve this problem. At present, all countries attach great importance to the biomass solid forming technology development, but there exits some issues on key components in the forming equipment, molding product quality, unit energy consumption and so on. These issues are the development direction of the biomass solid forming technology. Based on the current main problems, the main research work includes the following aspects:(1) Discussed the development of Biomass solid forming technology overview at home and abroad, as well as hydraulic solid forming technology and the latest achievements in the practical application domestic and foreign. Review of the methodology and progress and related theory of biomass solid forming technology a systematic analysis and synthesis of comments, explain the significance of this issue.(2) For the commonly used solid-forming materials-sawdust-characteristics, selection of suitable sawdust extruded finite element deformation theory, the use of Eulerian description method of forming one-dimensional compression of sawdust finite deformation study. Based on volume of compressible biomass plasticity theory, selection of materials suitable for sawdust yield condition, according to conditions and yield compression molding in the hydrostatic pressure, and derivation of sawdust elastic-plastic constitutive equation.When the biomass was squeezed into direct contact with the components-bush, the bush is also biomass of the key components of solid molding equipment. Based on elastic finite element method to establish the element stiffness matrix of the bush, the structural finite element analysis. Application of ANSYS software with or without bush forming process when the biomass compared and analyzed bush's role in the forming process, to provide a new method of optimal design for biomass solid forming equipment.(3) Based on the basic theory of heat and temperature deduced the basic equation of sawdust thermal-stress finite element. The use of ANSYS software sawdust molding process "heat-stress" coupled-field analysis calculated the frictional heat of the quality of biomass products to provide reference for the improving design of biomass forming equipment.(4) Bush as a key component of forming equipment, its reliability is directly related to whether the normal use of molding equipment.
