With improving the equipment safety, in electric power industry, the equipment condition monitoring and fault diagnosis need the demands of real-time monitoring. The most likely to reach this technology is the application of wireless sensor networks. In recent years, energy conversion and scavenging technology has been extensive applied to all types of sensor networks and monitoring system. The paper based on the theory of solar energy and vibration energy scavenging, Li-ion battery charge chip as core power conversion section, the rectifier, comparators and switch chips as the control segments, combined with the ultra-capacitor, designed a option of solar energy and vibration energy conversion scavenging technology, and make a real model, justifying the feasibility of its application, recording and anglicizing the experimental data. The experiment shows that design not only can be realize the smooth completion of the process of solar charging, but also implement the vibration energy piezoelectric conversion and intermittent charging, which has great opportunities for further development.
