| Along with the development of informatization in power industry, the information security of distribution automation system faces serious challenges. Security property becomes one of issues which need to be solved for the distribution automation system.This paper describes the network architecture, communication methods and information security problems of the distribution automation system. Information encryption is proposed to counteract the threats such as eavesdropping and masquerade.Then, a key management scheme base on the Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem (ECC) is presented, which is appropriate for the distribution automation systems with centralized mode. Using the proposed key management scheme, an information encryption scheme is designed.Finally, the information encryption scheme is analyzed and simulated. The results show that using the information encryption procedure both the mutual authentication and real time encryption can be realized. |
