The galloping of overhead transmission line covering ice conducting wire happening under wind effect is that one kind of big amplitude of low frequency vibrates. For the great amplitude, oscillation and long time lasted, galloping tends towards evoking the nasty accident of inter-phase shortcutting, damage to fitting and supporting structures, causing short-circuiting, conductor burned, hold down towers, and conductor broken, which engender serious economy damage and society loss thereby.The theory of high voltage overhead transmission line galloping is introduced in this paper. According to the analysis of O. Nigol and Den Hartog theory, the 3DOF model of conductor galloping is constructed. And, the alternation applying Taylor follows the analysis being in progress to the mathematic model brandishing; The programming applying Matlab finds the solution to above-mentioned mathematic model go along, gains the time domain curve; Affect the factor brandishing combining with may, finally, the characteristic property brandishing specifically for the time domain curve carries out a transmission conductor analyses.
