Conductor galloping is of great danger to the safe operation of the transmission line. Galloping tends towards evoking the nasty accident of inter-phase shortcutting, damage to fitting and supporting structures, causing short-circuiting, conductor burned, hold down towers, and conductor broken, which engender serious economy damage. Many research work about the mechanism and protection of the conductor galloping have been done at home and abroad. Based on the research results of the experts, this paper suggestes that with the acceleration to simulate galloping trajectory, and study on the galloping simulation monitoring system on transmission line. The research work in this paper will be helpful to the in-depth understanding of the particularity of the conductor galloping and the influence on the transmission lines.Considering the disadvantages of conventional One-Degree-of-Freedom and 3-Degree-of-Freedom galloping mechanism using in trajectory simulation of galloping, the paper gives the method that by measuring with the acceleration sensor in the vertical and horizontal directions when conductor galloping, finds the vertical direction and horizontal displacement by using MATLAB simulation software to program and simulate, and eventually to be synthesized in a total galloping trajectory. Based on simulation experiments, the results shows that this method is effective.The presence of DC component in simulation can cause integral analog baseline's migration, and eventually leads to trajectory's divergence. This paper gives the method by obtaining the DC component before the two points to re-calibrate the baseline of integration for solving this problem; In actual galloping monitoring, acceleration sensor's twist can lead to the final trajectory error. Based on this, paper proposes to use the acceleration decomposition of synthetic relations to eliminate errors caused by sensor's twist.Makes a construction of the laboratory conductor galloping experiment platform, and gives the selection of acceleration sensor, conditions setting, and the data acquisition in the process of experiment. Considering the disadvantage of conventional laboratory conductor galloping experiment, this paper devises to apply the acceleration sensor and the microcomputer with the galloping test program according to reference.Based on wireless sensor network, makes a construction of a transmission line of multi-track galloping simulation monitoring system. Derives the wave equation combined of wave form of galloping. Based on the existing tensile force calculation method, the calculation formula of the maximum varying quantity of the horizontal tension and the vertical tension component at the suspension point are deduced.
