Study On The Capacity Of Constructive Project Access

With the acceleration of urban construction, constructive projects accesses to be developed become more and more. The large amounts of traffic demand that the project newly generates leads to the level of traffic service of urban centre degrade and bring many traffic problems thereby. Traffic impact analysis for constructive projects accesses in urban center is an effective means to solve this contradiction.In the course of traffic impact analysis (TIA), confirm the number and location of constructive projects accesses is an important analytical content of the TIA. But there is still short of efficiency method to design the constructive project access in domestic.To begin with, the basic concepts of Access Management, such as developing background, fundamental principles and implemental methods, are illustrated. At the same time, the traffic properties of access are analyzed particularly.Therefore based on the characteristic analysis of 686 vehicle accesses from 198 TIA projects in Beijing, 44 survey locations were chosen as the typical study objects for this research. After analysis headway samples which collected from the 42 typical survey locations, the mathematical model was set up to analysis the capacity of constructive project access and the queuing theory was used to evaluate the level of service (LOV) of vehicle constructive project access.Finally, systematic analysis methodology was adopted to establish the guide lines of access numbers setting. And offered the location method.
