Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a new kind of high performance concrete with excellent ability of fluidity. SCC can pass through the density reinforcing steel bar nets and closely filling the model without vibrating or with slightly vibrating during the placing process. In this way, we can greatly reduce construction noise, enhance the speed of construction, ensure the construction quality. At the same time, SCC has enough ability of pasty, which can avoid segregation and bleeding, assure the homogeneity of SCC. For this factor, concrete will have remarkable ability of mechanics and well durability. But the time we used for studying SCC is very short, there are still many problems need us to research.Because the components of SCC are complex, there are many factors, will influence the ability of SCC. In this paper, we study how the sand coarse aggregate ratio, the W/C, the water reducing agent, the kinds and the quantity of mineral affect to the ability of SCC's function. Based on these factors, we also studied how these factors effect for SCC's mechanics function.The traditional laboratory apparatus can't give us accurate date or it needs long time and costs too much. So based on the practical situation, we use the L-BOX, U-BOX to measure the SCC's mobility, rate of flow and filling rate.We can summary the results from the test:1. Contrast with tradition plan, L-BOX can reflect the rheological property in a even convenient and comprehensive way.2. Sand coarse aggregate ratio is the fact for concrete fluidity and concrete strength. We increase the sand ratio, then the concrete fluidity will be better; but not always we increase the ratio the fluidity will be better.3. W/C is also the fact for concrete. With the level of W/C increase, the concrete will be better; but if we add too much water, the concrete will be isolate and bleeding.4. Agent and mineral is the fact for concrete. If we add it alone, the concrete will be more or less isolate and bleeding. we use the fly ash and the slag at the same time it will produce duplicated effect.
