At present, transportation of our large metropolitan is getting more and more congested, development of bus service can make more travelers utilize freeing up space on our streets and alleviate congestion. It is the chef subject that how to enhance the operating efficiency of bus system to provide quick and comfortable service. Bus priority is the key technology to solve this problem. Therefore, The objective of this study is the development of new method of Bus priority, and the VISSIM software is used to simulate and ananlyzed actuated signal controls.Concrete work including several following aspects:1.Actuated signal control method based on invariable cycle in view of single intersection are designed, including Green Extension, Red Truncation, Special Phase and computational method of related parameters, and partial indented were proposed at approach saturated signal interscetion.2.This part makes a non-liner function model through taking green wave system composed by multiple single-point signal control intersections as study object,proposes the modified optimal algorithm of urban arterial traffic signal coordination control and realizes the optimization design to the intersection signal timing of the green wave system.3.The process of the micro-simulation of the bus signal priority are designed and the evaluation framework are established, uesing VAP to design the signal control logic, and then proposes the methodology of the bus signal priority simulation. According to the simulation results, the bus signal priority evaluation framework is established.4.Selecting Beijing fushilu as the case study, the simulation platform is created based on plenty of investigations. Bus signal priority scenarios are simulated and the benefits of different program of bus siggnal priority are evaluated by analyzing the results.
