Public transport has the advantages of large capacity, high efficiency, environmental protection, safety, the priority development of public transport is widely considered to be one of the effective means to alleviate the traffic congestion, improve traffic efficiency. Because the bus lanes open road conditions to meet the needs of space to play a role, but some of the old city of mountainous city road or narrow, not enough space to the construction of bus lanes and bus traffic is large, so in this case you need to implement bus priority from the time. At present, most of the traditional bus priority control is to reduce vehicle delay into account, however, because the capacity of the bus is much higher than other social vehicles, the development of public transport is the maximum number of both the priority should be given to the control program, and ensure the intersection vehicle flow. Therefore, the delay of vehicles and passengers in two bus priority control method is studied.According to the two kinds of priority control of single intersection of single phase single vehicle bus priority control and multiple phase bus, also puts forward the corresponding control methods. For single point single phase single bus priority application situation, according to the green extension and early green light two strategies to establish the control model through the intersection of the total delay as the goal, and the constraints of the model are obtained by solving the model, the control parameters. For the multi phase multi vehicle bus priority control, according to the principle of determining the nearest light bus priority level, and gives the method to determine the bus priority conflict, to determine whether the application can coexist with bus priority. Then the application of decision tree method to public transportation vehicles per capita delay decision objective to find the best order of priority application, in order to determine the optimal control plan, implementation of bus priority.Finally, aiming at the multi intersection bus priority control passive situation, analyzes the relationship between the phase delay and different forms of the team arrived at the intersection of the poor, then the constraint conditions, the implementation of coordinated control of the cycle of the green signal ratio, phase and other parameters were determined, the establishment of a coordination control model with the minimum average delay per person as the goal, through the determination of cycle, green ratio, phase difference to realize bus priority signal coordination control scheme.
