Sheet-pile retaining wall has rapidly developed in the field of geotechnical engineering, and has been sucessfully used in many railways, roads and other retaining structures with its safety,reliability,economy and wide adaptability.However, little research has been conducted on the self-vibration characteristic of the roadbed retaining structure among nations at the present time. The pseudo-static method still remains the first choice for the seismic checking, with ratively backward model test research of the seismic stability analysis.This thesis takes the example of embankment pile-sheet retaining wall of the Yu-meng railway DK99+648-+700, which lies in strong earthquake region. Using the shaking table model test research, the specific tasks are as follows:1.The thesis summarizes the development and the use of analysing the slope stablity of the pseudo-static method,Newmark method and the nummerical method Also, it collects and sums up the research results of the anti-slide structure at home and abroad, and gives a brief description on the progress of the shaking table model test.2.Based on the former theoretical research results, the design of the shaking table model test is conducted, with the similarity principle applied and taking the embankment pile-sheet retaining wall on the scientific research and test section DK99+649 of the Yu-meng railway.3.With the introduction to the design principle and the implementation process of the model test, the test mainly includes the stess and the deformation of the pile-sheet retaining structure and acceleration response of the retaining structure-ground-embankment in the conditions of two kind of seismic waves.4.The test data are collected and the dynamic resonse of the pile-sheet retaining structure under each acceleration condition are analysed. As a result of the combined effects of reinforcement strip and soil,the stess of anti slide-pile can be reinforced effectively.The results show that if designed by 9 degree, the pile-sheet retaining structure has an excellent whole performance of earthquake resistance, and will not overturn or slide, which meets the requirement of seismic design in the high-intensity earthquake region.
