In recent years, earthquakes occurred frequently both at home and abroad, causing heavy economic losses. Earthquake-induced landslide is the most commom and the most destructive earthquake secondary disaster. This paper is based on the the national highway G317 reconstruction project after the wenchuan earthquake, using the shaking table model test to study the dynamic response of layered slope to the seismic waves and explore the most reasonable and effective slope retaining structures. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Determine the slope model to be studied based on the geological data and select a reasonable similarity ratio to design the prototype shaking table model test. After the test acceleration and displacement data collected at the measuring point, we use these data to study the dynamic response of the slope model under the earthquake wave;2.Select three different slope retaining structures to apply to the prototype on slope. And then experiment with the same condition as the prototype slope during the shaking table model test.Collect the acceleration and displacement data to study the dynamic response of these slopes with different retaining structures;3.By contrasting the dynamic response and slope failure forms between the three slope models with different retaining structures and the prototype slope mode, we can find out the different effect to improve the slope stability under earthquake of the three retaining structures and find the best one is the anti-slide pile;4.For the anti-slide pile, we can use the theoretical calculations and numerical simulation on the original size slope model to verify the accuracy of the shaking table model test. Through this,we can also prove that the shaking table model test is an important means to design the layered slope retaining structure.
