At present, a tunnel scheme has become a primary option of a long-distance oil-gas pipeline through mountains. Generally, such tunnels have small sections, complex loading conditions, and its lining and building feature still makes something different from that of railways and highways. So that some of the key technologies of lining design have gradually become a hot item.With the support of Project West-East Pipeline Tunnel and numerical simulation as main research methods, the following aspects were mainly studied in this paper.(1) By simulating different forms of tunnel sections of oil-gas pipelines tunnel, determine the logical lining form of a small tunnel section.(2) By size adjustments for the Integral lining of Tunnel sections of the oil-gas pipeline crossing, meet the design requirements as well as lower the project cost, ultimately achieve the Optimal section.(3) By using different schemes of segment block design for the oil-gas pipeline prefabricated lining, and combine with the features of mining method construction and the particularities of the prefabricated lining, simulate the construction progress of the oil-gas pipeline prefabricated lining with the Finite Element Method, inorder to test the possibility of the oil-gas pipeline tunnel with prefabricated lining.The main conclusions of this study are as follow:(1) The tunnel lining prefered the straight wall arc arch lining because the small size of excavation section;(2) Compared with five components division plan of prefabricated linings, identified that the best plan was malposition dome assembly program;(3) It should be considered that the effect of initial support and pressure grouting when the oil-gas pipelines tunnel used prefabricated lining. At the same time, the use of initial support helped the surrounding rock to improve its self-stability, and the effect of the pressure grouting for the force of prefabricated lining should not be neglected, it must be fully considered in the prefabricated lining design.
