Study On The Data Fusion Techniques Of Active/Passive Compound Guidance

Multi-mode compound guidance technology becomes the key developing field of the precision guided weapons. Active/passive compound guidance system combines the characteristics of the active radar system with the passive radar system, which improving the performance on both sides of anti-jamming and anti-stealthy. Based on the application backgrounds of the active/passive compound guidance system, this paper mainly makes the study on the data fusion of the system.Firstly, the paper briefly reviews the backgrounds and the development history of the active/passive compound guidance, and then it introduces the compound guidance seeker's structure design. It also makes a performance analysis on the detection probability.After that the paper introduces the basic sides of the information fusion theory, including it's classifies on content, fusion structure and the fusion level. Data fusion is one of the key technologies for the compound guidance.The paper gives the information fusion technology and key technique relative to the active/passive compound guidance system, and summarize up a data fusion scheme. According to the design flow of the data fusion, the paper mainly makes an analysis as follows: track initiation, tracking filter design, data association algorithm, track association and fusion. The paper gives through analysis of the algorithm and compares their characteristics. The paper also gives some improvements of the algorithm, including the application to the active/passive compound guidance. At last, the simulation result shows that the fusion method is effective and practical.
