Study On Open Space Layout And Pattern From The View Of Landscape Urbanism In Western Countries

Open space is special kind of space pattern with green mechanism in the city. The healthy and sound open space is an essential precondition of the continuity and integrity of the open space, which could fulfill the request of urban sustainable development and the needs of citizens'life. Thus under the guidance of proper planning theory, planner could not only play important role in building open space but also in inhibiting the urban sprawl.Firstly, the article reviews the urban planning concepts in the western countries, and discusses the landscape urbanism in detail, which expects to find the real meaning and growing movement. Secondly, the article describes the urban dynamic from the concepts of urban morphology for the latter part of the article. Good urban form could stimulate the urban vitality and improve the movement of the open space construction.
