| With the progress of society and economic, earth materials for house in the northern China has been substituted for brick, make the earth building disappear. The traditional earth houses are unable to satisfy lifestyle of contemporary people and the earth material has fatal flaws, such as poor compressive strength and low water resistance than clay brick which made the earth building disappear. But the earth building has a number of advantages such as:making use of local materials, the cost of building is economically, being constructed simply, warm in winter, cool in summer, energy and land efficiency, reduce pollution and maintaining ecological balance, having superior heat preservation performance and construction waste can be used as fertilizer. These ecological advantages can not be replaced by any other material. Nevertheless, in the arid and semi-arid areas of northwest China, in the dry and cold local climatic conditions building has wide application. In nowadays, people more and more attention in ecological crisis, energy crisis and pollution. So help people choose a green development path for local dwelling evolution is a effective way for energy and land efficiency, protecting resources and environment and also the significance of the study in this paper.There are many types of earth building, first of this paper is analyse the sort of earth building and classify the earth building from the structural. The main research object of this paper is the earth and timber load-bearing earth building of northwest China. The earth and timber load-bearing earth building is the structural of the load-bearing and the envelope structure is earth or timber. the earth and timber load-bearing earth building is abroad in northwest China.Earth building is abroad and geographical differences are great in China. There are difference issues in technical and functional for construct earth building in different places. Because construction technology level are different in the northwest China, the appearance and quality varied. The traditional technical experience need to sum up and improved. So this paper using thermal comfort test and classify the earth building from the structural, make the earth and timber load-bearing earth building of northwest China as the main research object. Based on the field study, indoor thermal environment measurement and simulation of the rural houses in QinMao village, a typical settlement in south Shaanxi QinLing Mountains, The changing course and trend of the rural houses in mountain area is analyzed. The problems about space layout, energy consumption and building security in the rural houses are obtained. Based on thermal environment measurement and simulation of the rural houses, the quantitative evaluation of the ecological characters of the rural houses is analyzed. Analyze and optimize the traditional techniques such as water-proof, moisture-resistant and anti-seismic. Analyzing the question of technical measures and construction methods to improve the deficiencies, optimize the traditional experience, finally to raise the program point of renovate. |
