The Convergence of global culture is one aspect of globalization, which makes parts of the traditional culture facing an unprecedented challenge, we can not help but think such a problem, whether we should recognize the importance of traditional culture, have the responsibility to protect it to make the traditional culture can be passed. The building as other cultures are also facing the same problem, the emergence of modern architectural style, making the convergence of world architecture, cities and buildings around the world, under the same goals and the control of the means, become increasingly similar to. In such circumstances, the protection of traditional buildings and heritage becomes necessary.In this paper, Hanzhong traditional houses is the research object, analysis from the residential building space form, detail and decoration and so on components. Through research the Hanzhong area's residential building, summarized the geographical features of traditional houses of Hanzhong, and proposed residential areas in Hanzhong region status and problems to faced.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is background information from the affected residential areas of Hanzhong geographical, historical, cultural, and social factors, analyzes the cause of its geographical characteristics of the generation and formation. The second part shape analysis, focusing on residential construction Hanzhong space form, detail and decoration and so on components, and summarizes the characteristics of their local architectural culture. Part III summarizes the characteristics of architectural space of Hanzhong, at last, the paper combined with field surveyn, proposed the Hanzhong area residential building facing status and response to a preliminary study ways.Through a large number of research articles in the hope of the traditional architectural elements of the Hanzhong preliminary interpretation of the traditional classification of the Hanzhong all building construction characteristics, with the local culture, geography and other factors linked, for better reflect the relationship between the Building,people, society, life,even a built and geographical environment, organic.In order to make the initial exploration of the Hanzhong cultural heritage of traditional architecture and development.
