With infrastructure expanding, construction industry has become one of China's pillar industry. It can develop national economic in international market. But beacause of high accident rate in construction safety status, it cause great losses to the national economy, also affect the quality of construction projects.First the paper does research on safety management status at home and abroad, analysis the major and serious construction accident in recent years. So we find the main reason for frequent accidents in construction is the complexity and uncertainty of data and information in human, machine, environment and management. Secondly, the paper uses multi-source information fusion method in the military, civil, industry, commercial and business management. Finally, according to the high accident rate in construction safety status, the paper uses D-S evidence theory of multi-source information fusion method to reduce the accident rate in construction safety. Through analysising and predicting the engineering data in human, machine, environment and management in construction, and building prediction model of early warning safety management, we can determine whether a construction project is in the "security state", we can predic the safety accidents and dangerous source in construction. So that we can take preventive measures for specific situations and promptly ensure the safety of the construction. Applying the method of multi-source information fusion to early safety management in construction which expands the construction safety management.
