As a much important status in the whole Chinese ancient buildings,ancient pagoda building is the most valuable treasure of Chinese architecture art.Locating in the Jianfu temple,which is in south of Xian city,Xiaoyan pagoda has a long history that is more than 1300 years since built. Suffered from wind and rain erosion and more than 70 times earthquake which had different classes,even in 2008's Wenchuan class 8 earthquake,the pagoda still stand tall and perform well.Refereing the history and archaeological information,this project analyse the structural feature of the Xiaoyan pagoda,and do a research about the seismatic of the masonry pagoda.Combined with the historical investigation and reinforcement information,this project maily carry out a detailed structural analyse about the controversial problem of the foundation of the Xiaoyan pagoda,and gain the the scientific conclusion.This article analyze the dynamic characteristics of the Xiaoyan Pagoda and the seismic capacity of masonry pagoda.Combining the calculation results and the structure features of the Xiaoyan Pagoda,the project will analysize the dynamic characteristic of the ancient masonry pagoda,and check the scientific rationality of the digital model,which also provide a reference for our ancient pagoda architecture's seismic performance.The main contents:1.This project refere the historical, archaeological information on the Xiaoyan Pagoda,and constructed a detailed analysis on controversial problem which is so-called "hemispherical" foundation.This project also do a research on the structural form of the foundation,and obtain scientific conclusions.2.Analysize the Xiaoyan Pagoda's mechanical properties,by making model of Xiaoyan Pagoda to do shaking table test.And do a research about the seismic response characteristics (including the period, vibration shape,damp) and the carrying capacity of the Xiaoyan Pagoda.Then obtain the prototype evaluation of the seismic performance of Xiaoyan Pagoda.3.Using the finite element software ANSYS and time-interval analysis to do a research,by choosing the different seismic waves to calculate the time-interval response discipline.Refering the Xiaoyan Pagoda existing structure information,this project do a analysis about its dynamic characteristics,based on the theory of seismic engineering.Using digital and active models to simulate the Xiaoyan Pagoda's seismic performance in the earthquake,the project research intended to provide some considerational protection suggestion for the ancient pagoda.
