With more and more wildly use of storage battery in every field on nation, how to charge the battery quickly, safely and efficiently become very important. Direct rectifying or rectifying using thyristor was adopted by most traditional charge device. Though it has complete technical and low price using that method of rectifying, it also has many disadvantages. For example, low input power factor can make the input current aberrant, thus polluting the external electric power and causing aberrant power loss; low working frequency causes the device volume big; there exists only unidirectional transformation of energy. With the development of power electronic device and power control technical, the storage battery charge system will has there characters, such as, high frequency, high efficiency and small volume. In this paper, the actual needs of the PWM rectify and bi-directional DC/DC converter research, design a new type of topology the results of battery charge and discharge system.Reversible PWM converter can realizes power factor correction (PFC), constant voltage output and bi-directional transformation of energy. A solution of VSR base on SVPWM and double closed loop control system of voltage and current is presented in this paper. By this way we can achieve optimal network side currents, making the system has better performance parameters.Based on the two DC/DC chopper circuit-Buck chopper and Boost chopper, a reversible DC/DC chopper circuit is designed, the constant current control model for charge is build. A wide output voltage range is the one great advantage, and can according to the size of the load voltage of the output voltage can be automatically switched.The design of control hardware of system based on MC9S12D64 microprocessor is analyzed completely in this paper. The design method of system software is introduced. Details of the various parts of the control system and its design parameters. And in MATLAB/Simulink environment is simulated in this paper.Finally, Bi-directional DC/DC converter in the experiment, experimental results verify its application for the proposed control method and system parameter design method is correct.
