In this article, making the valuation methods related to protection and planning on ancient architecture of national key cultural heritage in southern part of Shanxi . the article, through scientific analysis of nature and quantitative for ancient architecture, tries to establish a kind of reasonable valuation method for historical architecture to provide some degree of reference for further heritage conservation plan.Southern Shanxi region as "Sanjin" an important part of ourcounty, the ground is extremely rich heritage. Ancient architecture of various periods to reflect the development of different historical period of social, economic, and cultural aspects, can be said that the concentrated expression of various historical factors. The article mainly for ancient architecture itself contains the historical value, scientific value, artistic value, social value, cultural value and economic value of the six aspects of research and analysis.According to fieldwork and data collecting for ancient architecture in southern of Shanxi, the author visited to ancient architecture and took photos in Jincheng, Yuncheng, Linfen, changzhi, and so on. For single damage situation to historical buildings facilities and surrounding environment, the data were analyzed for the valuation method of historical buildings to provide first—hand assessment of the basic data. Valuation method based on this information will be explained and applied in the practical case of Quwo Dabei Court ancient architecture protection.The article includes five chapters—the introduction, the status of heritage buildings, assessment studies, the application of the valuation method in Dabei temple protection and anticipation.
