In recent years, with the improvement of people's living standards, the development of modern architecture, wall deepening of reform and the design concept of change, there has been a new type of residential system - short-leg shear walls structure. Because of this structural system not only saves concrete, steel bars dosage, has been largely met the design requirements, therefore, this structural system has been widely used in our multi-layer, high-rise residence. In this paper, a short-leg shear walls structure model and a special-shaped column frame structure model, using well-known engineering analysis software PKPM in SATWE, EPDA module, the two structural models were analyzed and compared. The use of large-scale general-purpose finite element analysis software on the short-limb shear wall structural walls were cracking component simulation analysis.In this paper, are the following aspects:First , the application software PKPM short-leg shear walls of reinforced concrete structures, special-shaped column frame structure to conduct an overall analysis of the two models, obtained special-shaped column frame structure seismic performance of more adverse.Second,through the use of ANSYS finite element software on different limbs strong factor analysis of the specimen can be seen as the stronger limb coefficient increases, the components of the ductility increases.Third,even the beams of different span-height ratio of short-leg shear walls specimens for analysis, can be seen in even the beam span-height ratio is equal to 2.5, the ductility of the best components.Fourth, even the beams of different reinforcement ratio of short-leg shear walls specimens for analysis, we can see that with even the beam reinforcement ratio increases, the components of the ductility decreases.Fifth,for different strength grade of concrete short-leg shear walls specimens for analysis, we can see that with the improvement of concrete strength grade, the deformation capacity of the specimen increased, but the extent was not obvious.
