This paper which relies on the 7# bridge of renre-dongduo highway in angola discusses thoese problems of steel- concrete composite continuous beam bridge; such as structural performance, design method and so on.â‘ According to the specific conditions of project, bridge-type scheme of special condition is determined through compared project considering lots of factors, such as cost, bridge landscape, construction condition, environment and so on; hen this paper selects reasonable bridge type scheme of special condition and proposes relevant construction solution.â‘¡In terms of conceptual design of the structure, the detail structures of steel beams segments, shear connector and negative bending moment region of piers are analyzed. According to the structural characteristics of steel-concrete composite continuous beams, this paper takes relevant structural treatment to bridge details and proposes arrangement style used both flexible shear connector and rigidity shear connector. These measures not only reduce the number of precast slab but also enhance effectively shear bearing capacity between steel beam and concert.â‘¢Mechanical behavior of rigidity shear connector from loading to failure is investigated by use of universal finite element software ANSYS. This paper analyzes deformation, law of stress distribution and load-slip curve and discusses the influencing factors on ultimate bearing capacity, and then establishes failure mode of rigidity shear connector and proposes simplified calculation formula of ultimate bearing capacity on rigidity shear connector for future design .â‘£Layout scheme of bridge deck is proposed based on the project, finite element software ANSYS is used to analyze mechanical behavior influence with different temperature rang, arrangement form of shear connector and installation method of bridge deck.
