In recent years, the role of bridge is more important with the development of the economy and the transport sector.However,with the significant increase in the number of bridges and the growing traffic volume,more and more service bridges have been into the fatigue stage ,which brings many problems .It seriously affects people's safety and could bring out a direct loss of national economy. So, the study on the method of damage identification of bridge will create theoretical and practical value.The article will focus on the method of damage identification of hinge joint of hollow slab bridge. Using mechanical characteristics of hollow slab and hinge joints passing the lateral force between slabs could put forward the damage identification method of hollow slab of hinge joints based on the analysis transient. Firstly, by looking up the related literature at home and abroad, the article has summarized the research situation and major method of bridge damage identification; then it discussed the characteristics of hinge joints of built-up hollow slab and load-bearing. Secondly, with the frequency, vibration mode and the curvature mode, it has studied in the three indexes after hinge joints damage, and discussed the feasibility of damage identification by using the changes of three indexes. Finally, using the transient displacement, transient acceleration, element strain energy to identify damage identification of hinge joints is feasible. Having analyzed the results and discussing if the three indexes can identify the damages. It has put forward the feasibility of program of the whole bridge damage identification of hinge joints.
