With the vigorous development of transportation infrastructure construction,the number of bridges in China has been in the forefront of the world.And the prefabricated hollow slab bridges are widely used in the construction of small and medium-sized bridges due to their high prefabrication and convenient construction.The hinge joints are the main part of transverse connection of the fabricated hollow slab bridge,but the hinge joints of the prefabricated hollow slab bridge are prone to damage due to improper design and construction,which has always been a problem to be faced by this type of bridge.In addition,the damaged hinge joints will affect the transverse force of the bridge,and it can induce diseases such as bridge deck spalling,hollow slab bottom surface cracks,and support falling out,which will eventually lead to a decrease in the load-bearing capacity of the bridge and threaten transportation safety.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify the changes of transverse mechanical properties of the fabricated hollow slab bridge after hinge joints and hollow slab are damaged,so as to lay a foundation for targeted maintenance of the fabricated hollow slab bridge.Based on the existing theories,this paper establishes the theoretical model and finite element model of transverse force on the superstructure of the prefabricated hollow slab bridge after damage,and studies the transverse force performance of the bridge after damage to the superstructure.The specific contents are as follows:(1)The research status of hinge joints and hollow slab damage of the fabricated hollow slab bridge at home and abroad is described,and the causes of hinge joints damage and the characteristics of diseases after damage are discussed.(2)The common theoretical methods of transverse distribution of load are summarized.And the theoretical condition of the articulated plate method and the specific method of calculating transverse load distribution of fabricated hollow slab bridge by the articulated plate method are introduced in detail,which lays a foundation for the feasibility of establishing transverse force model of assembled hollow slab bridge with superstructure damage.(3)The mechanical behavior of the fabricated hollow slab bridge after hinge joints and hollow slab damage is studied,and a theoretical model of transverse force that can reflect the damage and degree of damage to hinge joints and hollow slabs of the bridge is established based on the articulated plate method.(4)The finite element model of the hollow slab bridge after the hinge joint and the hollow slab are damaged is established by selecting appropriate elements in ANSYS.The results of theoretical model and finite element model are compared to verify the validity of each other.(5)By defining different damage conditions,the influence of hinge joints and hollow slab damage on the transverse force of the fabricated hollow slab bridge is analyzed by using the theoretical model of transverse force of hinge joints and hollow slab after damage,and the variation rule of transverse force on each slab after damage is summarized.
