With rapidly constructed pace of Mountainous freeway, the discarded soil field has also appeared in large numbers. As result of inadequate technical, many problems have been occurred, such as landslide, debris flow, revivaled of ancient landslide, the destruction of the ecological environment and so on.This paper studies by the typically discarded soil field of Xiamen-Chengdu freeway section of Shuikou-Duyun in GuiZhou, using field research and data collection methods, understand the basic situation settings of discarded soil field, the potential engineering problems and possible use of methods. by field and laboratory tests, gain the typical physical and mechanical characteristics of the discarded soil; Taking into account the interaction between the discarded soil field for freeway and the associated embankment for freeway, through the numerical simulation for the instability and wreck of mechanism of discarded soil field and the impact for associated embankment; combined with the existing stability analysis methods to study the proposed for the stability analysis method of discarded soil field; combined with strength and deformation test results in laboratory, consider the utilization of the late discarded soil field, the paper put forward appropriately compacted control standards of discarded soil field.In this paper, the outcome of institute can be to further improve design methods of discarded soil field Mountainous freeway, as well as provide a reference and guide for projects on how to reduce disaster and enhance rational use..
