With the continuous enhancement of China's strategy of developing western in Tibet, the exchange of goods between the Tibet and eastern-mid lands is becoming more and more frequent,so the transportation capacity will directly affect the economic development of Tibet by healthily and rapidly. As one of the main access channel to Tibet, Sichuan-Tibet highway plays a very important role of material transportation. However, landslide and high slope severely affect the normal operation of Sichuan-Tibet highway. For the above reasons, the paper has an analysis on the stability of the landslide and high slope in K3668+745 for the Tiantuo to Nujiang section of Sichuan-Tibet State Road 318, at the same time, a reasonable regulation program is put forward to ensure the highway is safe and expedite.First, with a combination of the basic conditions of the landslide and high slope, this paper analyzes the stability of five sections under the gravitational field and seismic conditions by using finite element analysis software ANSYS. And the results show that the landslide and high slope is less stable in the gravitational field state and trends to have a whole decline with the action of earthquake, so the regulation should be taken timely.Second, for the section of the steady state for the landslide and high slope, the reasonable regulation program is put forward mainly with drainage and support measures. Finally, the stability of the landslide and high slope is analyzed and the results show that the stability safety factor is greater than the design safety factor of 1.15. So it satisfies the stability requirement and provides basis for the engineering design of the landslide and high slope. The research results of the paper will give realistic values for reference and guidance for the similar landslide and high slope stability analysis and regulation in future.
